Prayer for our President CRYL Ramaposa.

Heavenly Father,
We come before You today with humble and sincere hearts, lifting up our nation, South Africa, and especially our President, Cyril Ramaphosa. Lord, You are the One who appoints leaders and sets them in places of authority. Your Word in Romans 13:1 reminds us that “there is no authority except that which God has established.” Therefore, we acknowledge that President Ramaphosa holds his position under Your sovereign will and divine purpose.
We thank You, Lord, for giving us a leader who desires to bring unity, stability, and prosperity to our nation. We pray that You would fill him with the fear of the Lord, for the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. Let every decision he makes be rooted in righteousness, truth, and justice. Surround him, O God, with wise counselors who will speak truth and not flattery, who will guide him in the path that leads to national healing, peace, and progress.
Father, You see the challenges our nation faces corruption, unemployment, crime, inequality, and division. We ask You to strengthen President Ramaphosa as he carries the heavy burden of leadership. Let Your Spirit rest upon him as it did upon Solomon when he asked for wisdom to govern Your people. Give our President a discerning heart to distinguish between right and wrong, between what pleases You and what pleases men. May his leadership reflect integrity, compassion, and humility.
Lord, we know that leadership is never easy. Many pressures, temptations, and voices surround him daily. Protect him, Lord, from every scheme of the enemy every trap set to bring him down, every whisper meant to mislead him, and every plan designed to cause confusion in his administration. Cover him under the precious blood of Jesus. Shield him from wicked advisers, deceptive alliances, and ungodly influence. Grant him spiritual discernment to see beyond appearances and to recognize what is true and honorable.
We pray that President Ramaphosa will seek Your face in every matter concerning this nation. Let him be like King David, who inquired of the Lord before making any move. May he not lean on his own understanding but acknowledge You in all his ways so that You may direct his paths. Give him courage to stand for what is right, even when it is unpopular. Give him strength to resist corruption and compromise.
Lord, we pray that You bless his family. Grant them peace, unity, and divine protection. May they be his source of encouragement and strength. Surround them with Your angels wherever they go. Protect them from harm, false accusations, and any form of attack. Keep their hearts humble before You and their eyes focused on You.
Father, we lift up every minister, advisor, and member of Parliament who works alongside our President. Let there be harmony and cooperation in government. Remove selfish ambition and personal gain from their hearts, and replace it with a desire to serve the people with honesty and diligence. Expose and uproot every spirit of corruption, greed, and injustice that seeks to destroy our nation. Let righteousness and justice reign in South Africa once again.
Lord, we bring before You the economic challenges that weigh heavily upon our President’s shoulders. Our nation is in need of revival financially, morally, and spiritually. Grant our President divine insight and practical solutions to revive industries, create jobs, and restore dignity to those who have lost hope. May You inspire him to establish policies that empower the poor, uplift the youth, and strengthen families.
Father, let the light of Christ shine through his leadership. Let him become an example of servant leadership to the entire continent of Africa. May he demonstrate compassion for the weak, mercy for the oppressed, and fairness in judgment. Teach him to listen more than he speaks and to act with integrity even when no one is watching.
We also pray for his spiritual walk. Draw him closer to You each day. Let him not be overwhelmed by the weight of leadership but find rest in Your presence. Send godly mentors, intercessors, and spiritual advisers who will encourage him to seek You continually. Let him find comfort in Your Word and strength in prayer. Renew his mind daily with the truth of Scripture and the power of Your Holy Spirit.
Lord, as we pray for our President, we also pray for the people of South Africa. Give us hearts of unity, not division. Help us to support and pray for our leaders instead of criticizing and cursing them. Your Word commands us in 1 Timothy 2:1–2 to pray for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. Let this nation rise in intercession for its leaders, for only through prayer can transformation truly begin.
Father, pour out Your Spirit upon our land. Heal our wounds, reconcile our differences, and ignite revival in every province. Let South Africa be known not for corruption or division but for justice, peace, and godly leadership. Let the Church arise in strength and stand as a pillar of truth and righteousness, supporting the government in prayer and moral guidance.
We pray that You break every stronghold of darkness that seeks to hinder progress in our nation. Bind every demonic influence that promotes violence, hatred, racism, and greed. Establish Your kingdom of love, peace, and truth in our cities and villages. Let Your righteousness flow like a mighty river across this nation, cleansing our institutions and renewing our hope.
Bless President Ramaphosa with physical strength and good health. Protect him from sickness, exhaustion, and stress. Let him wake up each morning with renewed energy and a clear mind to make decisions that honor You. May Your joy be his strength and Your wisdom his compass.
We declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper. Every tongue that rises against him in judgment we condemn, for this is the heritage of the servants of the Lord (Isaiah 54:17). Silence every voice of false accusation and malicious intent. Grant him favor among the people and even among his critics, that Your will may be fulfilled through his leadership.
Lord, we also remember the future of our nation. Raise up godly men and women who will stand alongside our President with clean hands and pure hearts. Let there be a new generation of righteous leaders who will build upon a foundation of integrity and truth. May South Africa’s leadership be a reflection of Your glory to the nations of the world.
We pray that You will continue to guide President Ramaphosa through every storm, every challenge, and every season of leadership. When he feels alone, remind him that You are with him. When he feels weak, be his strength. When he feels uncertain, be his light. May Your Word be a lamp unto his feet and a light unto his path (Psalm 119:105).
Father, we thank You because You hear the prayers of Your people. We trust that You will move mightily in our government and restore hope to this nation. Let righteousness exalt South Africa and let sin no longer be our reproach. May our leaders, beginning with President Cyril Ramaphosa, walk in humility before You and lead with a heart after Your own.
We seal this prayer in the name of Jesus Christ, who reigns as the King of kings and Lord of lords. May Your kingdom come and Your will be done in South Africa as it is in heaven.
